Royal Selangor Pewter Museum, Singapore

An alloy that combines tin, antimony and copper is Pewter and it is a forte of South East Asia. The pewter museum displays a wide range of private compilations of nearly 75 items ranging from tobacco boxes, oil lamps, elaborate Chinese lanterns along with lotus motifs to pewter manufacturing tools that is nearly a century old. The museum also displays every day demonstrations of conventional pewter processes.
The Pewter museum is opened from everyday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The approximate time taken for touring the museum is around thirty minutes.
