Changi village is the tranquil area in Singapore. The Changi beach has clean sand that draws fisherman and swimmers on Saturdays and Sundays.

A lot of bargains can be found at Changi village like T shirts, electronic gadgets, India cotton clothing, carpets and batik dresses, kimonos and shoes and different types of table linen when hunger hits your stomach, you can just go for the food centre or any one of the hotels along the main street. You can relax in the Umbrella shade, order some fresh sea food and you can see the world pass by.

Within close proximity is the Changi Chapel and museum which are worthy places to visit.

To get there: You can take the MRT to the Tanah Merah Station (EW4) and you can board the SBS bus 2.
